Our self-service kiosk handles a spefic set of application transactions per month, yet customers still pause when messages and instructions appear. We are looking to overhaul the UI / UX using less words and more animations and clearer instructions.
The outcome is to create a seamless simple application process that flows seamlessly from start to finish.
The kiosk contains 3 x key steps over approx 11 x screens.
1. Scanning front and back of licence.
2. Taking a photo
3. Making a Payment
I can provide existing screen layouts.
What I need
You will walk through the entire flow, spot where wording, visual hierarchy, or interaction cues fail, and reshape them so a first-time user can breeze through without help. The first screen has decent engagement; the pain point sits in the instructional copy and error handling deeper in the journey, so that area deserves the most attention.
Expected deliverables
• A concise UX audit pinpointing the confusing moments
• Low-fidelity wireframes that reorganize content and simplify language
• High-fidelity mock-ups or an interactive prototype (Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch) illustrating the revised flow
• A brief rationale for each change, tied to usability heuristics or micro-copy best practices
Please show previous experience with kiosk, POS, or other touchscreen-centric interfaces in your message so I can see how you have solved similar clarity challenges before. If your background is heavier on micro-copy or on responsive UI patterns, mention that as it will help me understand where you will add the most value. Once I review your portfolio we can set milestones and schedule quick user validation sessions to confirm improvements.
I am looking for someone that can impliment features that improve the users experience. Things like Animate button pushes to signal processing activity and progress etc.
