Simple Service Booking Website

I need a lightweight website where clients can quickly book personal-service appointments—think tutoring sessions, fitness training, or similar one-to-one help. The flow should feel professional and formal while staying straightforward for visitors: choose a service, pick a time, pay, and later come back to reschedule or cancel if needed.

Core interactions
• Book a service in just a few clicks
• Securely handle payments (Stripe or a similarly reliable gateway)
• Let users log in to review and manage their bookings in a clean dashboard

I am working with a total budget of 3 k, so the build must stay streamlined: no unnecessary screens, no bloated plugins—just fast loading, mobile-friendly pages and a small admin panel where I can add or edit offerings, see upcoming appointments, and issue refunds when required.

Tech is flexible as long as it is maintainable (Laravel, Django, or Node with a React/Vue front end are all fine), but please keep the interface minimalist in color and layout, emphasising clarity and trustworthiness rather than flashy graphics.
