Siemens SCC HMI Commissioning

Our 30/11 kV distribution project covers five identical substations. Each site already has a Siemens Substation Control Center running on WinCC that is only partially configured. The control center exchanges data with an A8000 RTU over IEC 60870-5-104, while the RTU speaks IEC 61850 to the Siemens protection IEDs.

I now need a specialist who can take the existing configuration and drive it through to full, reliable operation. That involves:

• Configuring and fine-tuning the IEC 104 link between SCC and A8000.
• Verifying and, where needed, correcting the IEC 61850 data mapping between RTU and IEDs.
• Completing the WinCC screen and tag setup so that all breaker, measurement and alarm points display and archive correctly.
• Running end-to-end tests—point checks, sequence of events, failover and power-up—to prove the system before energization.
• Delivering each substation’s final, documented WinCC project along with a concise commissioning report and any modified SCD/CID files.

I can supply the present WinCC projects, IEC 61850 SCD files and remote access (VPN) to the RTUs for off-site work. Site teams are ready to follow your instructions for loop-back tests, wiring checks and any local patch loading you direct.

Success for me is simple: every tag updates with the correct time-stamps, all commands operate first time, alarms appear in the right priority and the five substations share a uniform, stable HMI that operations can rely on from day one.
