We're looking for an editor to help with short videos. The work is practical rather than creative: cutting clips to length, adding subtitles, removing pauses and mistakes, and putting together simple edits from footage we provide. Each task comes with a brief, a target length, and examples of the style we use, so you'll know what's expected before you start.
We care more about accuracy and consistency than about a long showreel. If you can follow a brief, cut cleanly, and deliver on time, you'll fit in well. We review your first few videos and give feedback so you can get up to speed quickly.
On a typical task you'll import the footage, cut it to the agreed length, remove pauses and repeated takes, add subtitles and simple captions, and export in the format we specify. You'll follow our style guide for fonts, colours, and subtitle timing, and keep the project files organized in case we need changes. If something in the brief is unclear, you ask before editing rather than guessing.
What matters to us: clean cuts and accurate subtitles, attention to detail in timing and formatting, comfort with an editing tool (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or similar), and reliability, meaning you meet deadlines and communicate early if something changes.
What you get: flexible hours you can plan around your day, remote work from anywhere, clear briefs and examples for every task, feedback on your first videos, and ongoing part-time work with a steady flow of clips.
