I am ready to leave the monthly Shopify bills behind and bring our four-year-old store over to WooCommerce, fully self-hosted. I will supply a complete export of our Shopify catalog, customer data and order history; development can run locally and payments should remain in sandbox mode for the entire build.

The job centers on a faithful, low-friction migration so that existing customers barely notice anything has changed.

Key objectives
• Import every product, variant, image and collection into WooCommerce, preserving SKUs, stock counts and metafields.
• Transfer all customer accounts and past orders so purchase history and log-ins continue to work.
• Rebuild the current theme: homepage, product pages, navigation, fonts, colours and section layouts should look and behave almost identically.
• Re-create our live discount logic (automatic promotions, coupon codes, tiered shipping rates, free-shipping thresholds, etc.).
• Produce a redirect map that sends every legacy Shopify URL to its new WooCommerce counterpart to protect SEO.
• Audit our installed Shopify apps, identify which need 1-to-1 WooCommerce replacements, and flag any that can be eliminated entirely.

Success criteria
1. Test orders in sandbox process end-to-end without errors.
2. Randomly sampled products, customers and orders match the original data exactly.
3. Front-end is visually consistent with the current store on desktop and mobile.
4. All old Shopify URLs resolve (301) to the correct new addresses.
5. A short hand-over guide explains which plugins replaced which apps and any limitations.

If you have hands-on experience with both Shopify exports and WooCommerce product variations, can spot theme discrepancies quickly, and know the SEO implications of changing platforms, let’s talk.
