About My Business:
I run Pitres Handcrafted, faire etsy and .com selling 100% handcrafted goods, including hand-burned woodenware (like roux paddles and cutting boards), hand-stitched leather goods, and candles. Everything is made entirely by hand—I do not use CNC machines or automated lasers. My products are proven and validated: I recently did $10,000 this quarter on Faire and have over 100 sales on Etsy. However, my Shopify store is currently generating zero sales.
The Goal:
I do not want to build a completely new Shopify store from scratch. I need to keep my current theme but upgrade the UX, fix backend syncing issues, solve variant problems, and optimize my SEO so Shopify can become my central hub for both retail and wholesale.
Scope of Work:
1. Multi-Channel Sync & Variant Troubleshooting
Set up automated syncing between Shopify, Faire, and Etsy so inventory and orders are centralized on Shopify.
Fix existing variant issues across all three platforms (Shopify, Etsy, Faire). I am specifically having trouble getting variants to sync and display correctly for items like my roux paddles.
2. Wholesale & Retail Integration
Set up a B2B wholesale solution (like Wholesale Gorilla, Locksmith, or similar) on my Shopify store.
I need the ability to manually approve wholesale customers so they can log in and see wholesale pricing, while regular retail customers see standard pricing on the same website.
3. Shopify Theme Cleanup & UX "Flairs"
Reorganize my Shopify collections so they are logical, clean, and easy to navigate.
Hide or remove unnecessary pages to streamline the buying process.
Add visual upgrades and "flairs" to make the site more attractive and trustworthy without changing the core theme.
Import my existing Etsy reviews into Shopify to build social proof.
4. SEO & Title Optimization
Optimize product titles, meta descriptions, and tags across Shopify, Etsy, and Faire.
Fix current title issues so products are named exactly what customers are searching for (e.g., focusing on descriptive, search-friendly keywords).
5. Product Photography Assistance
Assist with auditing, organizing, and potentially updating product photos across listings to ensure they look cohesive and professional.
Ideal Freelancer:
You should be an expert in the Shopify ecosystem, specifically with B2B/wholesale apps, variant structures, and multi-channel syncing (Etsy and Faire). Strong SEO knowledge for both Shopify and marketplace algorithms is required.
