I’m setting up a new Shopify storefront dedicated to selling packaged food and confectionary items—think artisanal chocolates, gourmet snacks, and other edible delights. I already have my product line ready; what I need now is a clean, conversion-focused Shopify build that showcases these goods, simplifies checkout, and meets all food-sale compliance standards.
Scope of work
• Configure a fresh Shopify theme (or lightly customize an existing one) so product photos, ingredient lists, and nutritional facts display clearly on both mobile and desktop.
• Create intuitive collections for different treat categories and add a few example products so I can replicate the process later.
• Set up secure payment gateways and flexible shipping rates—including weight-based and local pickup options.
• Ensure the store’s structure is SEO-friendly (page titles, meta descriptions, alt text) to help customers discover us organically.
• Hand over a short how-to guide or screen-share walkthrough so my team can manage inventory, process orders, and update pages without outside help.
Acceptance criteria
1. Store loads error-free on modern browsers and passes Shopify’s theme check.
2. Test order runs from product page through payment confirmation with no glitches.
3. All food-related details (ingredients, allergens) have clearly labeled sections on product pages.
If you’ve launched Shopify sites for food brands before—or can point me to any edible-goods projects you’ve built—let me see them. I’m ready to get started right away and will be available for quick feedback during the build.
