Shopify Product Research & Sourcing Specialist

> I run KidsBlooms.com, a Shopify store targeting U.S. customers in kids, educational, Montessori, pretend-play, backpacks, and practical kids accessories.

I am looking for an experienced Shopify product researcher + supplier sourcing specialist. I do NOT want a generic list of trending products.

For this first test project, I want 5 fully researched products suitable for KidsBlooms.

Requirements:

Validate real demand in the U.S. market and current competition.

Show realistic U.S. selling prices from current competitors.

Target approximately 40%+ gross margin based on total landed cost.

Provide actual product cost, U.S. shipping cost, and total landed cost.

Prefer manufacturers, genuine wholesalers, Alibaba/1688 factories, sourcing agents, or U.S. distributors.

Do NOT use Amazon, Walmart, Target, or other retail stores as suppliers.

Do not rely on AliExpress as the primary supplier.

Prefer U.S. warehouse/fulfillment where possible, or approximately 7–10 day U.S. delivery.

Processing should ideally be 3 business days or less.

Reliable stock and reasonable return policy are required.

Avoid electrical toys, magnets, teethers, and safety-sensitive infant products unless appropriate U.S. compliance documentation is available.

For children's toys, check availability of CPC / CPSIA / ASTM F963 documentation where applicable.

Deliverables for each product must include: Product name and supplier, source/supplier link, product cost, shipping cost, landed cost, processing time, estimated U.S. delivery time, supplier location, MOQ if any, stock information, return policy, compliance-document availability, current competitor prices, recommended realistic selling price, and estimated gross margin.

Please explain how you research demand and how you verify suppliers in your bid.
