Shopify Invoice SMS Gateway Integration

I operate a U.S.–based auto-parts store on Shopify and need every completed order to trigger an automatic SMS that delivers the customer’s invoice. The invoice is already generated by Shopify and stored in the usual places; what’s missing is a reliable gateway that can take that data the moment the sale closes and push a text message to a U.S. phone number.

Here’s the outcome I expect:

• The solution taps directly into my Shopify store (webhooks, Flow, or an app script—whatever is most efficient) and captures order data the instant it becomes “paid.”
• A short, TCPA-compliant SMS containing the customer’s name, order number, and a secure link to the PDF invoice is sent through a U.S. gateway such as Twilio, Plivo, or a comparable carrier-grade alternative.
• Delivery reports and failure logs are viewable from my Shopify admin or an attached dashboard so I can track every message.
• Message templates are editable: I need to tweak wording, sender ID, and add promo codes when required.
• Everything is tested end-to-end with at least three live orders and documented so I can maintain it after hand-off.
