Shopify & Etsy Launch Setup

Hello,
I am hiring a freelancer to build the complete online selling setup for Stones Printing Co, a Houston-based startup that makes 3D printed products, laser engraving, DTF apparel and collectible gift box sets. The job covers two things: my Shopify store and my Etsy shop and listings. If this goes well, I plan to hire you separately for my company website.
The goal is simple: when you hand the project back, everything is configured, tested and sitting in draft, so that all I have to do is press Publish when I am ready. I will supply the product photos, and I will write the product descriptions myself. You build the entire environment around them.
What I will provide
• Product photos for every item, organized by product
• Final product titles and descriptions
• Prices, variants (sizes, colors, personalization options) and starting inventory counts
• My logo (blue mountains with a silver "STONES PRINTING CO" wordmark) and brand colors
• Business details: legal name, address, contact email, return and shipping policy decisions
• Login access to my Shopify and Etsy accounts (see Ownership and access below)
Product lines to set up:
• Gift box sets — five curated sets of 5–6 items each, in black magnetic boxes with custom foam inserts and engraved lids
• 3D printed holders — key fob, wallet and phone holders
• DTF apparel — custom printed shirts and apparel
• Engraving — including engraved crystal pieces and personalized items
Scope 1: Shopify store
I have a Shopify store started on the Basic plan (stonesprintingco.myshopify.com). I want it built out completely. The look I am aiming for is similar to thingsremembered.com: clean, gift-focused and easy to shop by occasion and personalization.
Store setup
• Theme selection and customization with my logo, colors and fonts
• Homepage, navigation menus, footer, and collection pages (Gift Boxes, Holders, Apparel, Engraving)
• Required pages: About, Contact, FAQ, Shipping, Returns/Refunds, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service
Products
• Create every product with my photos, titles, descriptions, prices and variants
• Personalization fields (custom text for engraving) where needed
• Inventory tracking, SKUs, weights and dimensions for shipping
• SEO titles, meta descriptions and image alt text
Payments and checkout
• Set up Shopify Payments (credit/debit cards), plus PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay
• I will enter my own banking, tax ID and identity verification details; you prepare everything around them
• Texas sales tax settings configured
• Test orders run end to end, then refunded
Shipping and notifications
• Shipping zones, rates and packaging profiles (including the larger gift boxes)
• Order confirmation, shipping and abandoned-cart emails branded to my store
Ready to launch
• Store password left on until I approve; all products in draft or hidden
• Store checked on desktop and mobile
Scope 2: Etsy shop and listings
Shop setup
• Create or complete the Etsy shop under my name and business: shop name, banner, logo, About section and shop policies
• Etsy Payments connected (I will enter my own bank and verification details)
• Shipping profiles, processing times and return policy matching my Shopify store
• Shop sections that mirror my product lines
Listings
• One listing per product, using my photos and descriptions
• Etsy-optimized titles, all 13 tags, categories and attributes filled in
• Variations and personalization boxes for custom engraving text
• Listings saved as drafts, ready for me to activate
Keeping both stores in step
• Recommend and, if I approve, set up a way to keep inventory synced between Shopify and Etsy so I don't oversell
Deliverables, ownership and handoff
Ownership and access
• All accounts stay in my name and under my ownership. Please work as a staff member or collaborator rather than on your own logins.
• I will enter all banking, tax and identity information myself. Please never ask me to send passwords or bank details by email or chat.
• Any paid themes, apps or plugins must be approved by me before purchase and bought in my name.
Handoff checklist

[ ] A short written guide (or screen recording) showing me how to publish, add a product, update inventory and process an order

Timeline and support
• Please propose a timeline with milestones; I'd like weekly progress updates
• Include 30 days of post-launch support for fixes and questions

3. Your price, as a fixed price for the full scope or broken out by Shopify, Etsy and website
