Shopify Developer Needed – Affiliate Code Feature + SEO & AEO Optimization

I’m looking for an experienced Shopify developer / SEO specialist to improve an existing e-commerce website.

The Shopify store is already built and operational, but there is one missing feature that needs to be implemented, followed by SEO and AEO optimization.

Scope of Work

1. Add Affiliate / Referral Code Functionality

During development, we forgot to include a field where customers can enter an affiliate/referral code.

I need this functionality added properly to the existing Shopify store.

The solution should:

* Allow customers to enter an affiliate/referral code during the purchase journey
* Store or track the submitted affiliate code correctly
* Make it possible to identify which affiliate generated an order
* Work reliably on both desktop and mobile
* Integrate cleanly with the existing Shopify theme and checkout flow
* Avoid negatively affecting site speed or existing functionality

Please recommend the best implementation method based on Shopify’s current technical limitations and architecture.

2. Technical SEO Optimization

After implementing the affiliate feature, I would also like a technical SEO review and optimization of the store.

This should include areas such as:

* Site structure and crawlability
* Page titles and meta descriptions
* Heading structure
* Canonical URLs
* Sitemap and robots configuration
* Product and collection page optimization
* Internal linking
* Image alt text
* Page speed / Core Web Vitals
* Mobile SEO
* Duplicate content issues
* Structured data / Schema markup
* Indexing issues
* Google Search Console setup/review where necessary

The goal is to create a technically clean Shopify store that is easy for search engines to crawl, understand and rank.

3. AEO / AI Search Optimization

I also want the website optimized for modern answer engines and AI-powered search.

Please review and improve areas such as:

* Clear semantic page structure
* Product information structure
* FAQ / question-based content where appropriate
* Structured data / JSON-LD
* Entity and brand information
* Content structure that makes important information easy for search engines and AI systems to understand
* Optimization for Google AI search features and other AI/answer engines where technically appropriate

I am not looking for generic “AI SEO” promises. I want technically justified improvements that can actually be implemented on the Shopify website.
