I’m building an online store and have settled on Shopify as the platform. I’d like a developer who can take my early-stage concept and turn it into a fully functioning e-commerce site that’s ready for customers, payments and marketing from day one.

Here’s what I already know and where I still need your expertise:

• Platform & hosting: Shopify (no headless set-up needed at this stage).
• Core objective: a clean, conversion-focused storefront that lets me list products, accept secure payments, and manage orders in one dashboard.
• Theme direction: modern, mobile-first and lightweight. I haven’t locked in a specific theme, so feel free to recommend a premium or custom option that matches these guidelines.
• Design assets: brand logo, colour palette and initial product photography are ready; I’ll supply them all in organised folders.
• Products: an initial catalogue of 25 – 30 physical items, each with 3-5 variants. I will provide titles, descriptions and pricing in CSV; you can advise on the best import workflow.
• Payments & shipping: Stripe, PayPal and Shopify Payments for checkout; real-time carrier rates for domestic shipping and flat-rate for international.

Where I need you to add the missing pieces:

• Technical: optimise site speed, implement structured data, set up tax rules and automate order notifications.
• Logistical: advise on fulfilment app integrations, inventory tracking and a scalable SKU naming convention.
• Content: create the essential policy pages (privacy, returns, shipping), refine product copy for consistency, and configure email templates to match the brand voice.

If you see opportunities for proven add-ons—such as product filtering, customer reviews or a wishlist function—please outline the pros, cons and any additional costs before implementation so I can decide.

Deliverables I’ll use for acceptance:

1. Live Shopify store on my domain with the above functionality fully tested on desktop and mobile.
2. Theme and code handed over via Shopify’s built-in theme transfer with no residual unpublished edits.
3. A brief hand-off document (or Loom video) covering store settings, how to update products and where to find key analytics.

I’m ready to begin as soon as we agree on milestones and timelines.
