I need billing software that works like a lightweight POS for a shop or restaurant, generating itemised receipts at checkout while keeping day-to-day sales fast and simple. The core must let me build and update a full product or menu catalogue—name, price, tax, variant or size—so staff can search or tap and add items to the bill within seconds.

At payment time the system has to handle cash, card, and digital wallet or QR transactions seamlessly. Cash drawers should open automatically, card readers must pick up the total without manual re-typing, and a QR code on the display or printed receipt should trigger wallet payments. Each transaction then needs to post straight to the daily sales log so end-of-shift totals reconcile against the till.

Typical receipt printers, barcode scanners, and a basic inventory file will already be on site, so the software must run on standard Windows PCs or inexpensive Android tablets without demanding extra hardware licences. A small SQLite or MySQL database is fine as long as backup and restore are straightforward.
