Sheet Metal STEP to DXF Flats

Mechanical CAD Drafting – STEP to Flat DXF (4mm Stainless Steel)

I’m looking for an experienced mechanical CAD designer or sheet-metal draftsman to assist with a small fabrication project.

I have 4 existing 3D models created in Shapr3D, which I can supply as STEP files.

I need these models converted into accurate sheet-metal flat patterns suitable for laser cutting and subsequent press-brake bending.

Project requirements

* Import the 4 existing Shapr3D STEP files.
* Convert the models into sheet-metal components.
* Material: 4 mm stainless steel.
* Account for appropriate bend allowances, bend radius and K-factor.
* Generate accurate unfolded flat patterns.
* Export individual 2D DXF files suitable for laser cutting.
* Provide editable CAD files and STEP files of the finished models.
* Provide basic fabrication drawings showing dimensions and bend details.

Additional information

* Most bends are 90 degrees.
* There are 4 individual components.
* The existing 3D designs are already completed.
* I’m looking for someone experienced in sheet-metal fabrication and manufacturing, not just general 3D modelling.

I can provide the STEP files and additional dimensions once the project is awarded.
