3D Sheet Metal CAD Assembly & DXF Flat Patterns (0.55mm Stainless)

Project Description:
Seeking an experienced sheet metal CAD designer (SolidWorks or Fusion 360 preferred) to turn concept sketches with notional dimensions of 3 interlocking components (0.55mm 304 Stainless Steel) into a fully constrained 3D assembly. Design relies on tab-and-slot, bridge lances, and hooks for toolless, self-aligning assembly.

Key Goals & DFM Focus:
• Maximize structural rigidity/hems to prevent oil-canning in 0.55mm sheet.
• Optimize tab/slot fit clearances (+0.15mm offset) for smooth manual assembly.
• Fine-tune hook/latch engagement and minimize laser/press-brake setup costs.

Deliverables:
1. 3D STEP & Native CAD files (.sldprt/.sldasm or .f3d) with DFM notes.
2. 1:1 Scale DXF Flat Patterns (clean CUT_OUTLINE & BEND_LINES layers).
3. 2D PDF Shop Drawings (dimensions, bend angles/directions, isometric view).

To Apply: Share 2–3 sheet metal/enclosure portfolio samples and state your CAD software.
