About the Role
HH Expert Consultancy is seeking highly analytical, detail-oriented Shadow Research Analysts specializing in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
In this role, you will conduct in-depth country conditions research to support expert witness reports utilized in legal proceedings, asylum and immigration tribunals, and human rights assessments. You will work closely with senior experts to deliver objective, evidence-based research under tight deadlines. Comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring will be provided throughout your tenure to help you master the methodologies of legal expert report preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Country Conditions Research: Gather, analyze, and synthesize primary and secondary data regarding human rights, political climate, security, and socio-legal conditions across MENA countries.
Report Drafting: Draft clear, precise, and objective research findings for inclusion in expert witness reports with quick turnaround times.
Urgent Query Response: Rapidly review background documents and respond to urgent research queries from legal teams and instruction bodies.
Quality & Accuracy: Ensure all factual findings are meticulously cited, neutral, and meet standard legal evidentiary requirements.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Participate in ongoing training sessions and incorporate feedback from senior experts into your research and writing.
