The task is to take my existing WooCommerce store and turn on a fully-functional affiliate program from scratch. I need a plugin or extension installed, configured, and tested so commissions, clicks, and payouts are tracked accurately without manual oversight.
Key points to cover
• Select the most suitable affiliate plugin for WooCommerce and justify the choice (AffiliateWP, Refersion, or similar).
• Configure commission rules, cookie lifetime, payout schedules, and real-time reporting.
• Create custom affiliate registration and login pages that match my current theme.
• Generate unique links for affiliates and verify that clicks and sales flow into the dashboard correctly.
• Enable email notifications for new sign-ups, approvals, and commission events.
• Provide a short hand-off guide or video explaining day-to-day tasks like approving affiliates, exporting payouts, and adding creatives.
Acceptance criteria
1. A test affiliate account registers, receives its link, drives a test purchase, and the commission appears in the admin panel.
2. All core pages (registration, dashboard, terms) follow my site’s styling and are reachable from the main menu.
3. Admin guide delivered in PDF or screen-share recording.
My store is already live on the latest WooCommerce and WordPress, running on a standard LAMP stack with no custom code conflicts at present. You‘ll have staging access first, then push to production once everything passes the above checks.
