I’m assembling an in-house SEO team for sriramanotebook.com and the first critical hire is a seasoned SEO Manager. I need a partner who can take me from “we need talent” to “offer letter signed,” handling every stage of the hiring funnel while letting me stay focused on the business.

Scope of work
• Refine or draft the SEO Manager job description so it attracts high-calibre applicants.
• Design an evaluation rubric that measures four must-have skills: SEO strategy development, team leadership, performance analysis & reporting, and complete, up-to-date knowledge of on-page, off-page and technical SEO.
• Source and screen candidates, separating genuine experts from résumé keywords.
• Run or co-run interviews—phone, video, or task-based—probing both strategic vision and hands-on competence with common toolsets (Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Present a shortlist with comparative notes, salary expectations and next-step recommendations.

Acceptance criteria
1. A minimum of three thoroughly vetted finalists who meet every rubric criterion.
2. Interview notes and scoring sheets for all screened candidates.
3. A concise hiring report outlining why each finalist fits our culture and growth plans.

Timeline and collaboration
I’m ready to begin immediately and will make myself available for quick feedback loops on job-post drafts, interview scheduling and final decisions. If you have a proven record of placing senior SEO talent, I’d love to see examples of successful hires and the frameworks you use to evaluate strategic as well as technical capability.

Let’s secure an SEO Manager who can lead our strategy, inspire a future team and keep sriramanotebook.com climbing the SERPs.
