Senior Web Developer — Ongoing Website Projects

We are looking for an experienced web developer who can take ownership of website projects from review through to completion, without requiring constant technical guidance from our team.

Our first project is Check From Home (CFH), an existing health-testing website that has already been partially developed. We need someone who can review the work completed so far, understand the existing structure, identify outstanding issues and professionally finish the project.

This is important: we are hiring someone to reduce our workload, not increase it.

We therefore need a developer with broad enough experience to confidently handle different website requirements and troubleshoot unfamiliar problems rather than immediately requiring us to find another specialist.

Skills We Are Looking For

Strong experience with:

Webflow
Shopify
WordPress
HTML / CSS / JavaScript
responsive website development
mobile optimisation
forms and third-party integrations
ecommerce and payment integrations
APIs where required
GA4, Meta Pixel and GTM
domains and DNS
website performance
troubleshooting and fixing existing websites

You do not have to know every system perfectly, but you must be technically capable, resourceful and confident solving problems independently.

First Project — Check From Home

You will initially be required to:

review the current CFH website
understand work already completed
identify unfinished or problematic areas
complete outstanding development
fix responsive/mobile issues
improve functionality where required
check links, forms and user journeys
implement required integrations
test the full website
prepare it for professional launch/use

We do not want to unnecessarily rebuild work that is already good.

How We Want to Work

Before development begins, we want an agreed Scope of Work / SLA covering:

exact deliverables
project milestones
completion timeframe
fixed project price
what is and is not included in the scope

If additional work becomes necessary outside the agreed scope, it should be discussed and approved before being undertaken.

We want clear pricing and timelines rather than an open-ended project where costs continuously increase.

Longer-Term Opportunity

CFH is only the first project.

We have several existing and future websites, so we are particularly interested in finding someone who can become a reliable long-term web development partner.
