We are looking for an experienced TypeScript/Node.js developer to work with our existing engineering team on backend services, web data extraction and LLM pipelines.
You will work in an existing codebase, collaborate with other developers on code reviews, and help build reliable, tested services and data workflows.
Required experience
- 5+ years of professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- NestJS.
- PostgreSQL, Prisma and PostGIS.
- Redis job queues with BullMQ.
- Web scraping using Playwright, headless browsers, Cheerio and jsdom, including experience handling anti-bot challenges on permitted data collection projects.
- LLM pipelines: structured extraction, evaluations and cost management.
- AWS ECS Fargate, ECR and IAM.
- Docker and GitHub Actions.
- Firebase Admin.
- Test-driven development.
Availability
- Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Pacific time: 25 hours per week.
- Target start: this week or next, subject to fit and agreement.
- Remote collaboration with our existing developers.

5. Can you consistently work Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Pacific time? What is your earliest start date and proposed rate for 25 hours/week?
