Senior SWRO Commissioning Engineer

I have an upcoming seawater reverse osmosis project that needs a seasoned commissioning specialist who can step in on a freelance basis and drive the plant from mechanical completion right through to performance testing and hand-over. The assignment is open exclusively to Indian professionals and demands at least ten years of hands-on field experience with large-scale SWRO or comparable water-treatment facilities for Saudi location.

Your core focus will be:
• Developing and executing the detailed commissioning plan, from system energisation to final optimisation.
• Configuring and fine-tuning Siemens SCADA along with its associated automation hardware; familiarity with platforms such as Rockwell Automation or Schneider Electric is welcome but not essential.
• Integrating third-party vendor packages—typical PLC, instrumentation, and communication subsystems—into the main control architecture.
• Leading on-site troubleshooting, coordinating with OEM representatives, and closing punch-list items quickly.
• Generating clear daily progress reports and final commissioning dossiers for client sign-off.

Key requirements
• Minimum 10 years’ field commissioning experience specific to SWRO or closely related desalination/water-treatment plants.
• Proven track record working with Siemens SCADA and associated automation components.
• Strong ability to interface disparate vendor systems and resolve integration issues in real time.
• Willingness to be on site as needed during pre-commissioning, wet testing, and performance guarantee runs.

Deliverables
1. Approved commissioning schedule and method statements.
2. Fully functional SCADA configuration files and back-ups.
3. Integrated system test reports (FAT/SAT) signed by all stakeholders.
4. As-built documentation, O&M manuals, and training hand-over records.
