Senior Python AI Engineer for Football team Mobile App

## Project Overview

We’re looking for an experienced **Senior Python Full Stack Engineer with AI integration experience** to help build a modern mobile application for a professional football team.

The app aims to enhance fan engagement, improve monetization opportunities, and deliver seamless digital experiences for fans both inside and outside the stadium.

We’re looking for a developer who can take ownership of backend development, API integrations, database design, and cloud infrastructure while collaborating with the team to build a reliable, scalable product.

## Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using **Python, FastAPI, or Flask**.
- Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs to support mobile application features.
- Integrate AI capabilities using OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar AI/ML platforms.
- Design and optimize SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and security best practices.
- Manage asynchronous workflows, external API integrations, and data processing.
- Containerize applications using Docker and support cloud deployment, preferably on Azure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to reliable production deployments.
- Collaborate with the development team to deliver high-quality features and solve technical challenges.

## Required Skills & Experience

- Strong commercial experience with **Python backend development**.
- Hands-on experience with **FastAPI or Flask**.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, asynchronous programming, and database architecture.
- Practical experience integrating AI APIs, such as OpenAI or Hugging Face.
- Experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of authentication, API security, and data privacy practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good English communication skills and experience working with remote teams.

**Nice to have:**
- Experience with Node.js.
- Experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience building mobile app backends, consumer-facing platforms, sports applications, or fan engagement products.
- Familiarity with scalable systems, real-time data flows, and AI-powered features.
