We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Flutter & Laravel Engineer / Technical Lead to perform an independent technical review of a production-ready food delivery platform before launch.
The platform is built on StackFood by 6amTech and includes:
- Customer App (Flutter)
- Restaurant App (Flutter)
- Delivery Driver App (Flutter)
- Laravel Backend / Admin Panel
- React Website
- Google Maps / Geolocation
- Firebase / Push Notifications
- REST APIs
We already have an active developer and a dedicated QA tester.
This role is not intended to replace the current developer. The selected engineer will work alongside the existing developer and QA team to review the system, identify root causes, validate technical quality, and ensure the platform is stable before launch.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform a full technical audit of the current Flutter, Laravel, and React codebase.
- Review the overall architecture and identify weak or risky areas.
- Investigate recurring bugs and identify their real root causes.
- Review Flutter state management, navigation, forms, lifecycle, and application stability.
- Review Google Maps, GPS, geolocation, delivery zones, address handling, and Android/iOS consistency.
- Review Laravel APIs and communication between the apps and backend.
- Review Firebase and push-notification flows.
- Review authentication, registration, validation, and session flows.
- Check for API inconsistencies, race conditions, poor error handling, and state-sync problems.
- Review database/API logic where relevant.
- Review Git workflow and code quality.
- Work directly with the existing developer to explain findings and proposed fixes.
- Review important fixes before release.
- Help determine which issues must be resolved before production launch.
Required Experience:
We are looking for a senior engineer with strong technical auditing experience. Previous experience with StackFood or similar platforms is strongly preferred.
Strong experience required in:
- Flutter / Dart
- Laravel / PHP
- React / JavaScript
- Flutter State Management
- REST APIs
- Google Maps SDK
- GPS / Geolocation
- Google Places / Geocoding
- Firebase / FCM
- Android & iOS debugging
- MySQL
- Authentication / OTP flows
- Git / Code Review
- Application Architecture
- Production debugging
Previous experience with food delivery, courier, taxi, logistics, marketplace, or other real-time location-based systems is strongly preferred. Experience with StackFood by 6amTech is a plus but not required.
Initial Engagement:
We want to start with a paid technical audit. The first task will be to review the platform and provide:
o Main technical risks before launch
o Root causes behind recurring bugs
o Architecture/code-quality concerns
o Maps/location assessment
o Flutter/mobile stability assessment
o Laravel/API assessment
o Firebase/notification assessment
o Bugs that must be fixed before launch
o Recommended fixes and priorities
o Recommendation on whether additional development resources are required After the audit, there may be an opportunity for ongoing collaboration with our existing developer. Important: We are not looking for someone who only converts Figma designs into Flutter. We need someone who can investigate a problem across: Flutter → API → Laravel → Database → Firebase → Mobile App—and determine where the real problem originates.
