**Job Title:** Senior ERP Product Architect & Business Systems Auditor

**Experience Level:** 10+ Years (Enterprise Resource Planning)

**Engagement:** Part-Time / Fractional / Strategic Advisory (10–15 hours/week)

**Location:** Remote

About the Role

We are building a next-generation, high-density Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. The application combines universal ERP core modules (Accounting, HRMS & Payroll, Sales/CRM, Production, and Logistics/Route Planning) with highly flexible, industry-specific custom logic (such as dimensional pricing, yield/breakage tracking, and specialized field dispatch).

We are seeking a **Senior ERP Product Architect / Systems Auditor** with **over 10 years of deep domain experience** in enterprise software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or custom ERP implementations).

In this role, you will act as the principal auditor and functional lead. You will not write code; instead, you will review the frontend (Svelte 5 / Tailwind) and backend (APIs and Database schemas) implementations, perform rigorous gap analysis, catch edge-case bugs, and ensure the engineering team builds a complete, enterprise-grade ERP system.

### Key Responsibilities

#### 1. End-to-End Module Auditing (Frontend & Backend)

* Conduct deep functional audits of all core ERP modules: **Accounting & Financials, HR & Payroll, Sales & Marketing, Production & MRP, and Live Tracking & Route Planning**.
* Verify that frontend interfaces correctly connect to backend services and accurately reflect real-time business data.
* Validate that user workflows support both standard desktop operations (keyboard-friendly, low latency) and complex multi-step processes.

#### 2. Universal vs. Industry-Specific Logic Verification

* **Universal Core (80%):** Ensure standard enterprise features—General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Tax Compliance, Core HRMS, Sales Pipelines, and basic Material Requirements Planning (MRP)—strictly adhere to accounting principles and industry best practices.
* **Industry-Specific Layer (20%):** Evaluate specialized features such as:
* **Manufacturing & Industrial Processing:** Dimensional pricing (length × width × thickness), glass yield optimization, cut-to-size inventory tracking, machine downtime logging, and detailed breakage analysis.
* **HR & Payroll:** Shift-based rotation schedules, piece-rate compensation models, and automated attendance missing-punch reconciliations.
* **Logistics & Route Planning:** Vehicle load-capacity balancing, A-frame or fragile cargo dispatching, and multi-stop route optimization.

3. Gap Analysis & Edge-Case Testing

* Systematically test the application as different user personas (e.g., CFO, Floor Supervisor, HR Manager, Field Sales Representative).
* Identify missing business rules, unhandled edge cases, logical fallacies in financial calculations, and incomplete data models.
* Audit multi-branch, multi-company, and role-based data permission controls to prevent data leaks or unauthorized overrides.

4. Developer Direction & Issue Translation

* Translate discovered business gaps, functional errors, and missing logic into precise, structured technical tickets (Jira/Trello/GitHub Issues) for frontend and backend engineers.
* Conduct weekly sprint reviews and live demos with developers to validate fixes before features are marked complete.

---

Required Qualifications
10+ Years of ERP Experience:** Extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, auditing, or managing enterprise ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS/NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Tally, Odoo, or enterprise-grade custom ERPs).
Deep Cross-Functional Knowledge:** Mastery over business processes across Accounting/Finance, HRMS, Supply Chain, Manufacturing/MRP, and CRM/Sales.
Technical Acumen:** Ability to inspect REST/GraphQL API payloads, database schemas (JSONB / Relational tables), and frontend user flows to diagnose whether an issue stems from UI layout, state management, or backend database logic.
* **Complex Data & Unit Handling:** Familiarity with non-standard inventory metrics (e.g., dimensional square-meter/square-foot calculations, scrap/waste percentages, piece-rate tracking).
QA & Bug Identification:** Exceptional ability to find edge cases, flawed calculations, and broken user journeys that standard software testers might overlook.
Communication:** Clear, concise technical writing skills to document functional specifications and issue tickets for developers.

---

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

* Experience with modern web-based ERP architectures (API-first design, microservices, dynamic widget-based dashboards).
* Direct experience auditing manufacturing ERPs (glass processing, metal fabrication, or industrial machinery) or high-volume service distribution systems.
* Background as a Lead Business Systems Analyst, Solution Architect, or Functional Consultant at a major IT/ERP consulting firm.
