Headquarters: United States

Location: Remote (US, Canada or Latin America)
Type: Contract / FTE Equivalent
Start: Immediately
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to own a pod of paid social DTC accounts end to end: strategy, buying, and client relationship. You'll work directly alongside the founders to shape how we grow our clients' businesses and our agency's capabilities, while mentoring junior team members and drawing on them for support. Your primary responsibility will be your pod of accounts, and you will also assist the founders across the business with other clients as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Whole-Business Performance
You evaluate accounts through blended CAC, contribution of paid to total revenue, new-vs-returning mix, and retention signals, and you make day-to-day decisions off real performance. Forecasts are a guide and the actual numbers drive your decision-making. You can explain why platform ROAS alone is a bad compass.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Develop and own full-funnel paid media strategies across Meta (plus potentially TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms as needed)
Set monthly targets grounded in the client's actual CPA and funded budget, adjusting as reality comes in
Hands-on platform execution: budget allocation, pacing, scaling, and cutting based on performance and client KPIs
Lead campaign setup, launch, ongoing optimization, and performance analysis across your pod
Analytics & Reporting
Own client-facing performance reporting — translating data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Build and maintain advanced dashboards using Google Sheets, Supermetrics, and similar tools
Conduct regular account audits to identify growth and efficiency opportunities
Establish and track KPIs, benchmarks, and forecasting models across accounts
Creative Strategy
Translate revenue goals into a plan for what the creative team needs to produce, and when
Analyze creative performance and use data to inform iteration cycles and testing roadmaps
Build and manage structured A/B testing frameworks across creative
Client & Team Leadership
Serve as a primary point of contact for key client accounts, building trust through proactive communication and strategic guidance
Lead client status calls and strategy presentations with a clear, confident perspective
Deliver difficult news clearly and present paths to a solution
Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to Marketing Analysts and junior team members
Collaborate with founders on agency operations, new business pitches, and process improvements
How the Ramp Works
The timeline is quick, but the ramp is structured and gradual — we make sure you're confident before you take over, then expect you to run it day to day, with founders staying involved at the strategic level.
Months 1–2: Take over buying and strategy on your starting pod with founder oversight, shadowing then co-leading client calls.
Months 3–4: Lead calls solo as founders step back to strategic oversight.
We'll know it's working if by month four, your pod runs seamlessly through you, and you're handling day-to-day calls, strategy, and buying.
How We Work
You'll work directly with the founders who've built the systems you'll run. We give you the context, tools, and information you need, then we expect you to be independent and trust you to run with it. You arrive with the paid marketing knowledge, and we help you sharpen how you apply it.
We have a defined way of operating — performance-led planning, a structured creative cadence, specific views on measurement — refined across years of DTC accounts. The best people we've worked with bring their own judgment and look to understand why our system works the way it does. That combination is what we're hiring for.
Requirements
Several years of hands-on paid media buying on Meta (other platforms a plus) for DTC/e-commerce at meaningful spend, with accounts you can walk through in detail (what you did, why, and what happened)
Proven track record of managing and scaling paid media budgets with measurable results
Fluency in whole-business marketing math: blended CAC, paid contribution to overall revenue, new-vs-returning dynamics
Client-facing maturity: you can carry a strategy call, deliver difficult news, and build trust over time
Self-directed: you take direction and apply it independently, and you surface problems early instead of sitting on them
Strong command of analytics platforms and experience building data dashboards
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — able to present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously with the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate junior team members
Available across the full US business day; if US-based, must contract through your own business entity
Familiarity with TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, and other social platforms is a plus
Compensation
Competitive for senior operators, calibrated to experience and location.
