About Us

Highland Electric Fleets’ mission is to make electric fleets accessible and affordable for all, enabling communities to realize the benefits of cleaner, quieter and healthier fleets. Highland is North America’s leading provider of Electrification-as-a-Service (EaaS). Founded in 2019, Highland partners with school districts, municipalities, and fleet operators to make the transition to electric fleets simple and affordable.
Highland proudly serves as the Official Electric School Bus Provider of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA. From pioneering vehicle-to-grid technology to managing some of the nation’s largest electric school bus fleets, Highland delivers reliable, cost-effective solutions that support local communities and drive the future of transportation.

Summary:

We're looking for a strategic, story-driven Senior Brand Manager to lead how Highland’s brand shows up in market. This role owns Highland’s content engine and integrated campaigns, including activation of our LA28 Olympic & Paralympic sponsorship. The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for setting the narrative, briefing and directing our internal creative team, agency partners, and external production crews, and running the production & content calendar so the right assets land on time and on message.

Beyond brand, this person helps drive the product narrative: translating what Highland delivers into clear positioning and messaging, and equipping our sales teams with the collateral they need to win. The ideal candidate pairs creative instinct with commercial focus, and knows how to turn a complex offering into a story that resonates with school districts, municipalities, fleet operators, and community stakeholders.

Job Overview:

Content Creation & Production

Own Highland's content engine end to end — from narrative and concept through production, launch, and repurposing across channels

Build and maintain the content calendar to drive an integrated message across channels

Partner with the Creative Director on video and photoshoots with Team USA athletes, and customer events & testimonials, owning planning, logistics, and execution

Lead content review and approvals, including customer, legal, and sponsorship compliance sign-off

Manage the content library to support future activation and sales enablement

Campaign & Sponsorship Activation

Lead activation of integrated brand campaigns from brief and creative development through launch, optimization, and reporting, working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize consistency and impact. Campaigns to include tentpole events, current-customer engagement, and demand generation programs

Deliver Highland's LA28 Olympic & Paralympic activation with internal and external teams, ensuring assets, content, and messaging connect with both national and local audiences

Maximize the value of the LA28 partnership across brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement while maintaining USOPP/IOC compliance

Build local activation and co-marketing moments with school districts, from ribbon cuttings to community events

Brand Steward & Narrative

Serve as a steward of the Highland brand, holding a consistent voice, look, and experience across every channel and touchpoint

Bring Highland's established brand strategy to life through campaigns, content, and activation — sharpening how the story gets told

Partner with leadership on thought leadership and stakeholder advocacy moments that build Highland's reputation in a competitive, fast-moving market

Product Marketing & Narrative

Help drive Highland's product narrative translating our Electrification-as-a-Service offering and product capabilities into clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for priority audiences

Partner cross-functionally to develop messaging frameworks and value propositions that connect product features to customer outcomes

Own the development of product-facing sales collateral (e.g. decks, one-pagers, and talk track) that help commercial teams engage district and municipal decision-makers

Performance Measurement

Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, adjusting as needed to meet and exceed KPIs

Translate performance data into clear recommendations that sharpen future brand and product marketing investments

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

7+ years of brand, content, and/or product marketing experience

Strong track record of developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, preferably in support of high-profile sponsorships

Demonstrated experience owning content production end to end — briefing creative, directing agencies and production crews

Experience developing product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials that connect a product or service to customer outcomes

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across content, digital, paid media, events, and PR

Demonstrated experience with sponsorship activation and major brand events preferred

Outstanding communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to synthesize complex information into compelling benefits, messaging, and presentations

Experience in B2B or public sector marketing a plus

What You Can Expect from Highland:

Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus program

A supportive, highly collaborative, team-oriented environment

Ability to work with bright, innovative, and forward-thinking colleagues

Health, Vision, and Dental coverage for employees & their dependents

Generous Paid Time Off

401(k) program and company match
