LauLau is seeking a high-caliber, exceptionally reliable Senior Accountant to manage financial portfolios for our US-based CPA and accounting firm clients. You will drive the execution of complex accounting cycles, ensure clean closing workflows, and interact professionally with client stakeholders in a high-performing remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform senior-level financial management, daily ledger oversight, and advanced data categorization.
Execute mandatory monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations for diverse business entities.
Conduct comprehensive month-end and year-end closing procedures under strict compliance timelines.
Calculate and process annual sales tax liabilities and multi-state compliance filings.
Generate and analyze foundational financial reporting packages, including Trial Balances, P&L statements, and Balance Sheets.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of overall accounting experience, including at least 3 years working recently inside a US accounting/CPA firm.
Proven employment stability with a minimum of 2 years of continuous tenure in each past role.
Strong professional English communication skills for direct, front-facing advisory interactions with US clients.
Documented history of positive professional references from at least two former US employers.
Open to candidates residing in the Philippines and South Africa.
