Selenium Automation Interviewer (Java/Python)

I have a pipeline of QA-automation candidates coming in and I need an experienced Selenium professional who is equally comfortable in Java and Python to screen them for me. The goal is to make sure every applicant can design, build and troubleshoot functional, regression and full end-to-end test suites that run reliably across Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

What I’d like you to do
• Design a concise interview plan that mixes theory and hands-on coding for Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit on the Java side and pytest/Unittest for Python.
• Run the live interviews (video call is fine) and walk each candidate through code review and small live-coding tasks.
• After every session, send me a short report highlighting strengths, gaps and a clear hire/no-hire recommendation.

Acceptance criteria
• Interview kit shared 24 h before the first call.
• Minimum three practical tasks: one each for functional, regression and end-to-end scenarios.
• Written evaluation delivered within two hours of closing an interview.
