SEEL Strategies Workshop for Teachers

I’m organising a 90-minute professional-development session for a staff of just over 100 teachers and I want participants to walk away with practical, ready-to-use SEEL strategies that focus on ethical decision-making and responsible behaviour. The tone of the session should sit midway between a lecture and a hands-on training: concise evidence-based input followed by engaging, small-group activities that let teachers immediately practise what they hear.

What I need from you
• A complete session plan that clearly breaks down timing, content delivery, and interactive segments.
• Slide deck and printable/online handouts teachers can use during and after the workshop.
• Two or three adaptable activities (case studies, role plays, or quick simulations) that target ethical decision-making in real classroom contexts.
• A brief facilitator guide with cues, discussion prompts, and suggested answers.
• Optional follow-up resources or reflection tasks teachers can try in their classrooms.

Please build the workshop around current SEEL research; feel free to weave in interactive tools such as Mentimeter, Padlet, or quick polling if they enhance engagement.
