Seamless Outdoor Green-Screen Compositing

I have several shots captured against a green screen and I need them to feel as if they were filmed on location in a real outdoor space under soft, overcast daylight. Your job is to remove the green, place the talent into the chosen background plate, then carry the work all the way through: matching exposure, shadows, subtle colour shifts, and any atmosphere so the composite is undetectable.

Run time is 1.5 mins and has 7 shots that need to be keyed. The project has already been edited so it just needs to be colored and made to look realistic.

The footage should read as a cloudy-day exterior. That means soft, diffused key light on faces, gentle wraparound shadows, and colour temperatures that lean slightly cool without losing natural skin tones. Please add or shape shadows so feet, hair and clothing all sit convincingly on the ground plane. If the scene calls for it, introduce a touch of environmental bounce light or edge highlights that might come from a pale sky. Grain, depth-of-field blur and any camera movement must match the supplied background plates perfectly.

I normally work with 4K ProRes HQ files, so I’ll provide you with clean plates and keyed source clips via download link. Return finished 10-bit ProRes files that drop straight into my timeline, plus the project file (DaVinci Resolve/Fusion).

Acceptance criteria – the composite passes on first viewing, without visible spill, matte chatter, edge fringing, or mismatched grading. If it looks like it was shot out there on a cloudy afternoon, the job is done.
