I have a factory-issued PDF showing the strip-footing layout for a new residential manufactured home. Before I submit the permit package, I need a licensed structural engineer to give the plan a thorough integrity review against the local requirements I’ll provide, then return it with your professional seal and signature so the county will sign off.
You will receive:
• The original foundation drawing in PDF
• The sections of our local residential code that apply (soil bearing, frost depth, anchorage, etc.)
Deliverables:
• Reviewed plan or letter with any red-lined corrections needed for compliance
• Final signed and sealed PDF ready for electronic permitting (wet stamp option if the jurisdiction insists)
Acceptance criteria:
1. Your seal must be valid in my state (we’ll confirm before work starts).
2. Any comments from the building department based on this foundation must be addressed at no extra cost.
Please include the states where you hold an active PE/SE license and your expected turnaround time.
