I have an 18-station screw-tightening line that needs a robust PLC program and on-site commissioning. You will start with the existing PLC backup and full electrical drawings, then tailor the logic so each station runs smoothly from part loading right through to validated torque confirmation and safe de-clamping.

The control platform is a mix of Siemens and Mitsubishi hardware, so proven experience with Step 7 / TIA Portal and GX Works (or the equivalent) is essential. If you are also comfortable on Allen-Bradley that’s a plus, but the core of the project must run flawlessly on the two brands already in place.

A Delvo electric screwdriver system provides torque feedback; your code must capture that data, count every screw, compare it against setpoints, and trigger alarms or retries when tolerances are missed. I’ll rely on you to shape the sequence and all interlocks so operators can’t move to the next step unless every screw meets spec.

Key deliverables
• Updated PLC program for all 18 stations
• Integrated Delvo torque and screw-count validation routine
• Comprehensive interlock and safety logic
• On-site testing, debugging and final hand-over with a clean run of approved parts
• Program documentation and updated electrical drawings reflecting all changes

When you reply, please include:
– Highlights of past Siemens / Mitsubishi projects, ideally involving screwdrivers or torque tools
– Screenshots or short clips that prove live torque capture and validation you’ve built before
– Your estimated timeline from kickoff to hand-over

I’m ready to move quickly once I see the right fit, so share your profile and relevant experience and we can line up a technical call straight away.
