I’ll hand over a folder of raw school-event clips and I need them shaped into a short cinematic piece that feels unapologetically nostalgic and sentimental. Think slow emotional songs underscoring the story, gentle cross-dissolves, subtle film-grain overlays, and carefully timed text lines that echo the “those were the days” feeling.

Scope
• Select and trim the best moments from the footage, weaving a clear beginning, middle, and end.
• Synchronise a slow, emotive track to the visuals so every beat deepens the memory-lane atmosphere.
• Add tasteful text animations—class names, years, inside jokes—without pulling focus from the imagery.
• Use warm colour grading, soft transitions, and a hint of vignette or film burn to heighten the retro vibe.

Deliverables
• Final 1080p (or higher) master video, ready for social sharing and a classroom projector.
• Editable project file (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve preferred, After Effects if you add motion graphics).
• All licensed audio, LUTs, and plug-ins referenced clearly so I can re-open the project later without issues.

Acceptance Criteria
1. Runtime stays within 2–3½ minutes.
2. Music, titles, and transitions feel cohesive; no harsh cuts or jarring effects.
3. Colour grade and overall tone convey warmth and sentimentality, not oversaturation.
4. No copyrighted material used without proof of licence.
