I plan to launch a web-based learning platform for Classes 1-10 that lets students study each chapter at their own pace. The two non-negotiables are:
• clear, chapter-wise video lessons that stream smoothly, and
• a personal progress dashboard that shows completion and test scores per chapter and subject.
Students should be able to watch a lesson, try a bank of practice questions, sit a quick test and instantly see how they did. Downloadable question papers with model solutions are desirable next-phase items, so keep them in mind when structuring content.
Content must be available in Marathi, English and Hindi from day one, with an easy language switch that sticks across sessions. While the UI should respond gracefully on any screen, my priority is a polished experience on desktops and laptops first.
Administrators—teachers and content editors, not developers—need a browser-based console where they can:
• upload or replace a video,
• add new questions or full tests,
• reorder chapters or subjects, and
• publish instantly without code changes.
Adding a new class, board, subject or medium should be as simple as filling a form.
Because the reference site I shared is only for scope and flow, please propose your own branding and interface. The design should feel fresh, lightweight and friendly to students on low-cost devices and variable networks. Expect thousands of concurrent learners, so efficient video encoding, CDN usage and tight front-end performance matter.
I’m leaning toward a headless CMS + React/Vue front end, but I’m open to your stack suggestion as long as it meets these acceptance criteria:
1. A working demo with one class, three subjects and four chapters, each fully functional.
2. All content operations can be done from the admin panel—no code edit required.
3. Average video start time under three seconds on a 3 G connection (Lighthouse test).
4. All text strings externalised for easy localisation.
Deliverables include the complete source code, deployment scripts (Docker or equivalent), concise setup docs, and a short user guide for admins. If any feature needs phasing—such as the downloadable papers—outline the timeline and effort so I can budget milestones sensibly.
