I need a production-ready, cross-platform social and communication app built with React Native for both Android and iOS. The very first release must nail short-form video, real-time messaging, and rich user profiles; on top of that, I also expect an integrated ads network for creators and brands plus a secure web-based admin panel for moderation and analytics.
Frontend
React Native will drive the mobile clients, with native modules where raw performance is essential. For video, FFmpeg/ExoPlayer/AVFoundation are acceptable; messaging should ride on WebSockets or gRPC streams to keep latency low.
Backend
A microservice architecture in Go, Rust, or Elixir—whichever your team masters best—running on PostgreSQL (with Redis for caching and object storage for media) is required. The codebase must follow clean-architecture principles, feature full automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Pulumi) so we can scale smoothly to millions of monthly active users.
Security & Performance Targets
OAuth2/OpenID Connect, RBAC, encrypted media at rest, rate limiting, audit logging, sub-second message delivery, smooth 60 fps video playback, and ≤150 ms 95th-percentile API latency under load.
Deliverables
• React Native source with modular folder structure
• Backend services in Docker/K8s manifests
• Web admin panel with role management
• Ads network module ready for future DSP integration
• Complete documentation (setup, API, architecture) & automated test suite
• Staging builds via TestFlight / Firebase App Distribution
Acceptance Criteria
1. A user can register, create a profile, post a ≤60 s video, and receive likes/comments without noticeable lag.
2. Two devices exchange real-time messages successfully even on 3G.
3. Admin panel lists users, flags content, and toggles ad campaigns.
4. Load-testing with 1 000 concurrent users stays within the stated latency budgets.
If your team has shipped social, messaging, or video products at scale, please share code samples or store links that prove it. I’m ready to move quickly once the right match is found.
