I am building a line of sanitary napkins for the region and need an experienced product designer to turn the concept into a market-ready reality. My priority right now is the product itself—everything from what goes inside it to how it looks on the shelf.
Material selection comes first. I want a clear recommendation on layers and suppliers that deliver both high absorbency and hypoallergenic performance. While eco-friendly options are welcome if they meet these two criteria, the pad must never compromise on skin comfort or fluid retention.
Next is the physical form. I need guidance on overall shape, length, and thickness so the pad fits comfortably, moves naturally, and offers reliable leakage protection. Please translate those insights into precise CAD drawings or equivalent files that a tooling engineer can work from.
Finally, the pad has to stand out in store aisles. I’m looking for a fresh packaging concept that protects the product, communicates our value proposition, and is ready for shelf display or e-commerce shipping.
Deliverables
• Material stack-up with technical specs and supplier notes
• 2–3 iterative CAD drawings (pad shape, size, cross-section) in a common format
• Packaging design mock-ups with dielines and print-ready files
• A short rationale document explaining choices and how they meet absorbency & hypoallergenic goals
If you have hands-on experience with absorbent core technology, non-woven selection, and consumer goods packaging, I’d love to see examples in your proposal along with your typical timeline.
