Sandblast & Paint Steel Trusses

I have ten structural steel trusses, each measuring 32 ft long by 7 ft high. I will arrange shipment of the individual trusses directly to your facility; all you need to do is receive them, sandblast to white metal, and apply an industrial-grade matte grey finish.

Scope of work
• Full media blast to remove all mill scale, rust, and shop dirt
• Application of a primer suited to exterior structural steel (please specify brand in your bid)
• Two-coat matte grey topcoat, even coverage with no runs or thin spots
• Adequate curing time, followed by protective wrap or other packaging for return freight

Acceptance criteria
• Surface profile and cleanliness meet SSPC-SP 5 / NACE 1 or equivalent
• Dry-film thickness complies with the paint manufacturer’s data sheet
• No visible holidays, blistering, or discoloration under normal lighting

You’ll need the space and equipment to handle 32-ft members safely, along with appropriate blasting media, spray equipment, and environmental controls. When you reply, include the blasting media you prefer, the coating system you recommend, your estimated turnaround time per truss, and any certifications you hold for structural-steel coating work.
