WordPress Developer – 6-Page Website from Completed Design & Specification

Hi,

I’m looking for an experienced WordPress/front-end developer to implement a 6-page business website on my existing One.com hosting.

This is primarily an implementation project – not a web design or content creation project. The design, structure, content and functionality have already been prepared in detail.

Complete material is already prepared

For all six pages, I will provide:

Completed visual desktop layouts
Annotated versions of the layouts with POS/reference numbers for sections and individual elements
A corresponding POS/reference document describing these elements and their intended functionality
Detailed written implementation instructions
All final website copy
All form text and field labels
All confirmation messages and automatic email reply texts
Images and most icons
Instructions for the forms, course registration, pop-up and other functionality
The website itself will be entirely in Swedish, and all Swedish text is already finalized. No copywriting or translation is required.

Technical documentation and communication with the developer can be provided in English.

The developer’s main responsibility is therefore to translate the completed design and specification into a polished, responsive WordPress website.

Design & responsive implementation

The supplied design should be followed closely.

The website must work well on desktop, tablet and mobile, with desktop as the main priority. The developer should make professional responsive adjustments where necessary for smaller screens.

Normal front-end work should include:

Cropping, sizing and web-optimizing supplied images
Simple image fades/gradients into white backgrounds
Reusable semi-transparent red/pink wave transitions between selected sections
A consistent wave treatment below hero sections and in selected footer areas
Responsive rearrangement of cards, icons, images and text on smaller screens
The wave effect does not need to be individually created for every page. A clean and reusable SVG/CSS or similar responsive solution is preferred.

Required functionality

The website requires:

Contact form: sends an email to me, sends a predefined automatic confirmation email to the visitor, and displays a predefined confirmation message on the website.
Course registration form: visitors select a course date and number of participants and enter their contact/company details. The registration is emailed to me, the participant receives a predefined automatic confirmation email, and a confirmation is displayed on the website.
I must be able to easily add, remove and edit course dates myself in WordPress.
A simple scrollable pop-up/modal for registration terms, which visitors can open and close.
A second domain on the same hosting account should permanently redirect to one specific page on the main website.
There is no online payment, LMS, student account, membership system or other advanced booking system required.

WordPress & future maintenance

I want a clean, lightweight and maintainable WordPress implementation using established WordPress practices.

Custom CSS, SVG and JavaScript are welcome where appropriate to accurately reproduce the design, but the website should not depend on a proprietary solution or one specific developer.

I should be able to make simple content changes myself, particularly updating course dates.

A short 30–60 minute handover session after completion should be included to show me how to perform the most common updates.

Please also let me know whether you offer occasional support after launch without requiring an ongoing maintenance contract.

Basic SEO

I have approximately 5–10 priority keywords.

Please include basic technical/on-page SEO, including:

Page titles and meta descriptions
Correct heading structure
Image filenames and alt text
Clean URL structure
XML sitemap and indexing setup
Basic performance and image optimization
My existing Swedish copy should not be rewritten.

Hosting

Domain, email and hosting are already with One.com. WordPress can be installed/configured as part of the project if required.
