"Saathi" Parent-Child Support Mobile App

TITLE: Full-Stack Developer Needed for Saathi Parent & Child Support App + Admin Panel + Website

I am looking for an experienced and reliable developer or small development team to build “Saathi,” a simple, accessible mobile app for parents and children, including children with developmental, behavioural, communication, or daily-living support needs.

PLATFORMS

• Android and iOS mobile app
• Web-based admin/coach panel
• Basic responsive informational website
• Preferably built with Flutter and Firebase, but I am open to better recommendations

CORE PURPOSE

Saathi will connect a child’s Individual Development Plan (IDP) with a practical daily Home Program while also supporting the parent.

The app must be extremely simple, visual, accessible, and easy for parents and children to use.

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN — IDP

• Select 3–5 active goals for each child
• Goal categories: communication, behaviour, social skills, daily living, learning readiness, food and sleep
• Admin/coach can create, assign and update goals
• Each goal must connect with relevant home-program activities
• Weekly progress and goal status
• IDP is a support tool and not a medical diagnosis

HOME PROGRAM

• Admin/coach assigns a home program according to the child’s goals
• Daily and weekly activity schedule
• Step-by-step visual instructions
• Child touches a picture/icon to hear the instruction
• Punjabi, Hindi and English text/audio support
• Pre-recorded voice files must be supported
• First–Then visual board
• Visual routines
• Demonstration video support
• Parent can mark: Completed, Needed Help or Not Completed
• Stars or simple rewards
• Parent can upload a short progress video or note
• Weekly progress summary

Initial home-program topics will include:

• Brushing teeth
• Handwashing
• Dressing
• Bathing
• Toilet training
• Eating and sitting at the table
• Asking for help, food, water or a break
• Waiting and following simple directions

• Short parent-coaching lessons
• Parent burnout/stress check-in
• Self-care reminders and calming activities
• Behaviour guidance
• General diet and picky-eating guidance
• Weekly parent goal
• Parent can submit a concern using text, audio or a short video
• Admin/coach can respond and assign relevant guidance

LOCAL PARENT COMMUNITY

• Parent groups based on city/area
• Posts and comments
• Report and block options
• Admin moderation
• No child’s private IDP or medical information should be automatically shared
• Private messaging is not required in the first version

ADMIN/COACH PANEL

• Manage users and child profiles
• Create and assign IDP goals
• Create and assign home programs
• Upload pictures, audio, documents and compressed videos
• Add/edit parent-coaching, behaviour and diet content
• Review parent concerns
• Respond to parents
• Moderate community posts and reports
• View basic progress reports
• Send push notifications
• Content should be editable without changing the app code

INITIAL CONTENT SETUP

The quotation should include uploading and testing approximately:

• 15 IDP goal templates
• 20 daily-living home programs
• 30 short parent-coaching lessons
• 10 behaviour-support programs
• 10 general diet/picky-eating lessons
• Initial English, Punjabi and Hindi text/audio files supplied or approved by me

SECURITY AND OWNERSHIP

• Secure authentication and database rules
• Parent consent and privacy controls
• Account and data deletion option
• Regular database backup
• Source code, domain, database, Firebase, Apple and Google developer accounts must remain under my ownership
• Developer will receive access only as required
• Complete source code, credentials, technical documentation and deployment handover are mandatory
• No reuse or resale of confidential content or user data

FIRST VERSION DOES NOT REQUIRE

• AI diagnosis
• Live doctor consultation
• Professional booking/payment marketplace
• Advanced AI-generated IDPs
• Private parent-to-parent messaging
• Complex animations or games

BUDGET AND TIMELINE

• Target fixed-price budget: INR 10,00,000–13,50,000
• Maximum overall budget: INR 15,00,000, including design, development, testing and launch
• Expected timeline: approximately 6–8 months
• Payments will be milestone-based
• I will not make full advance payment
• Please clearly state whether taxes and third-party charges are included

PAYMENT MILESTONES

• 10% after agreement and discovery
• 15% after approved UI/UX prototype
• 20% after login, profiles and backend
• 25% after working IDP and Home Program
• 15% after Parent Support, Community and Admin Panel
• 10% after final testing
• 5% after store launch, source-code handover and documentation

SUPPORT REQUIRED

• Android and iOS store submission
• Minimum 60–90 days free post-launch bug support
• Separate monthly maintenance quotation after the free support period
• Developer must provide an estimate for ongoing server, storage, OTP and maintenance costs
