Rustic Coffeehouse Counter Design

I’m re-imagining the counter and service zone of my new coffeehouse and need a skilled commercial interior designer who can translate a rustic-and-cozy vision into a fully detailed concept. Think warm timbers, aged metals, textured brickwork, and welcoming ambient lighting that immediately tells guests they’re in the right place for a comforting brew.
Scope
The seating area and restrooms are already covered; your sole focus is the heart of the shop—the barista counter, pastry display, back bar cabinetry, and the customer queuing path. I’ll supply the floor plan and brand mood board on kick-off. You’ll shape the layout for both efficiency and theatre: clear sight lines to the espresso machine, intuitive customer flow, and ergonomic work zones for staff.
Additionally, digital renderings of the exterior are available to help align the interior design with the outdoor theme. These renderings can be accessed through the project’s Files tab.
Deliverables
• Two initial mood + material boards to confirm finishes
• Scaled floor plan and elevations (AutoCAD or Revit)
• 3D visualisations or SketchUp model highlighting lighting, millwork, and equipment placement
• A concise spec sheet listing key materials, fixtures, and furniture, with indicative sourcing options
Acceptance
The final package should read as a build-ready guide that my contractor can price without guesswork. All files must be supplied in editable CAD formats plus PDFs for quick reference.
If rustic warmth, operational efficiency, and eye-catching merchandising sound like your sweet spot, I’d love to see examples of similar hospitality counters you’ve designed and hear how you would approach this project.
