Position: Russian Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert (San Francisco Bay Area)
Type:Contract
Compensation:$50/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:10–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Russian, ensuring clarity and adherence to guidelines.
Produce high-quality written outputs in Russian and English, capturing nuances and dialectal variations.
Establish evaluation standards and develop rubrics for Russian and English audio contexts.
Conduct model testing, evaluate outputs, and provide feedback to improve performance in Russian tasks.
Support QA cycles to ensure consistency and reliability in datasets and benchmarks.
Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and enhance task design.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Native or near-native fluency in Russian and professional fluency in English.
Familiarity with spoken Russian, regional vocabulary, and dialects.
Ability to transcribe and analyze Russian audio content.
Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Available to commit 10–20 hours per week.
Preferred
College students or recent graduates.
Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, translation/localization, or technical disciplines.
Experience with transcription, annotation, localization, evaluation, or research workflows in Russian.
Familiarity with regional variations of Russian and digital language usage.
Interest in AI, language models, or applied research environments.
