Redesign and Engineering Calculations for Rotary Drum Dryer Pine Sawdust
Project Description
I am looking for a qualified mechanical engineer or equipment design expert to perform the engineering calculations and provide technical drawings for redesigning a rotary drum dryer used in a pellet production line
Current Setup and Problem
Equipment Rotary drum dryer zero point five meters diameter by six meters length with a Johannes AZ four heater
Material Radiata pine sawdust
Moisture Content Entering at forty four percent and must exit at fifteen percent
Issue Current drying efficiency is insufficient for the required throughput and moisture target
Scope of Work Required
One Perform complete mass and thermal balance calculations
Two Evaluate airflow heat input residence time and exhaust gas temperatures seventy to ninety degrees Celsius range
Three Redesign internal flighting lifters to optimize material showering and heat transfer
Four Deliver detailed technical drawings measurements elevations and structural layout so my local mechanical team can fabricate and assemble the system
Requirements
Proven experience in industrial drying systems or biomass processing equipment
Ability to provide clear mechanical fabrication drawings and engineering recommendations
