Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer | Android System Development, Rooted Devices & Real-Time Systems
Job Overview
I am looking for an experienced software engineer for long-term collaboration on multiple software development projects.
My projects include a web-based device management platform, Android applications, rooted Android device modules, real-time device communication, and other custom software solutions.
I need a developer with strong practical coding skills who can understand existing codebases, build new features, debug complex issues, optimize performance, and deliver reliable, well-documented solutions.
This is intended to be a long-term working relationship rather than a one-time task.
Main Responsibilities
1. Full-Stack Web Development
- Develop and maintain web applications using React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain backend APIs and server-side functionality.
- Implement real-time communication using WebSockets and related technologies.
- Optimize frontend performance, API requests, database queries, and rendering.
- Develop scalable device management dashboards and administrative panels.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and session management.
- Debug existing applications and improve their architecture when necessary.
2. Android Application Development
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Build APKs and integrate them with backend APIs.
- Implement reliable background processing and device-to-server communication.
- Diagnose Android compatibility issues across different Android versions.
- Analyze crashes, logs, permissions, and application lifecycle problems.
- Optimize application reliability, performance, and resource consumption.
3. Rooted Android & System-Level Development
Practical experience in rooted Android development is highly desirable.
Relevant technologies include:
- Magisk and Zygisk module development.
- LSPosed/Xposed framework.
- Android framework internals and Android Runtime (ART).
- Linux fundamentals, ADB, shell scripting, and Logcat.
- JNI and C/C++ for native Android components.
- APK analysis, DEX/Smali debugging, and authorized reverse engineering.
- Debugging compatibility issues across Android versions, particularly Android 14, 15, and 16.
Candidates should clearly explain which of these technologies they have used in real projects. The ability to demonstrate relevant previous work is a significant advantage.
4. Backend, Database & Server Management
- Develop secure and reliable backend services.
- Work with REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data synchronization.
- Design and optimize database schemas, indexes, and queries.
- Work with relevant databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis, depending on the existing project architecture.
- Manage Linux-based VPS environments.
- Troubleshoot server-side issues, review logs, and optimize resource usage.
- Understand deployment, backups, monitoring, and recovery procedures.
5. Code Quality & Project Delivery
- Review existing code before making significant changes.
- Write maintainable, modular, and well-documented code.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control.
- Write appropriate unit and integration tests.
- Explain technical decisions and potential risks before implementing major changes.
- Provide progress updates and clear reports describing completed work.
- Deliver source code, build instructions, documentation, and testing results.
- Avoid unnecessary rewrites or changes outside the approved scope.
Required Qualifications
- Strong professional software development experience.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development.
- Practical experience with React.js, Next.js, and backend API development.
- Strong Android development skills using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with databases, networking, debugging, and software architecture.
- Familiarity with Linux servers and deployment workflows.
- Good understanding of software security and testing.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet agreed deadlines.
- Willingness to collaborate on multiple projects over time.
Experience with rooted Android devices, Magisk/Zygisk, and Android internals is a major advantage. Candidates with demonstrable expertise in both full-stack development and Android system-level development are especially encouraged to apply.
