ROMAFLEUR — SHOPIFY WEBSITE BRIEF
I’m looking for a **creative Shopify designer/developer** to build a high-end e-commerce website for **ROMAFLEUR**, a Los Angeles floral studio.
PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING
**Do not send an offer/proposal unless you have reviewed this full description and the reference website.**
I am specifically looking for someone with a **strong creative eye, excellent typography/layout skills, and experience creating elevated fashion, luxury, editorial, or lifestyle websites.**
Please include relevant portfolio examples that demonstrate your design capabilities.
REFERENCE [J'Adore Les Fleurs](https://www.jadorelesfleurs.com/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)
**I do not want to copy their design.**
ROMAFLEUR should reinterpret this level of luxury through a younger, more fashion-forward identity.
CREATIVE DIRECTION: MIU MIU × VOGUE EDITORIAL × PRADA × LOS ANGELES FLORAL STUDIO**
Think **fashion house first, florist second.**
The site should feel minimal, editorial, feminine, expensive, youthful, artistic, and highly curated.
Visual direction:
* Oversized campaign photography
* Soft black typography
* Editorial serif + modern sans serif
* Generous negative space
* Fashion-magazine-inspired/asymmetrical layouts
* Full-screen imagery/video
* Subtle, sophisticated animation and hover effects
**NO** generic Shopify florist aesthetic, bridal look, excessive pink, clutter, or Etsy-style design.
WEBSITE
Homepage:** Full-screen campaign hero, Shop by Collection, Best Sellers, editorial campaign moments, Events, and a **ROMAFLEUR ×** collaborations section.
**Shop:** Collections such as Signature, Roses, Bouquets, Grand Gestures, Seasonal and Shop All.
**Product Pages:** Large photography, product details, size/stem options, delivery/pickup, date selection, gift message and Add to Bag.
**Events:** Editorial page for private events, brand activations, launches, dinners, corporate gifting, editorial shoots and floral installations with an inquiry form.
**Our World:** A more editorial alternative to a traditional About page featuring the ROMAFLEUR story, Los Angeles identity, campaigns, collaborations and imagery.
### DELIVERY + SHOPIFY FUNCTIONALITY
Customers must be able to select **Local Delivery or Studio Pickup**, choose an available date, and enter gift/delivery information.
Backend should allow us to manage delivery ZIP codes, fees, available dates, blackout dates, order cutoffs and pickup availability.
Shopify must remain easy for me to manage independently, including products, pricing, collections, imagery/video, homepage content and seasonal launches.
### MOBILE
**Mobile is extremely important.**
Most customers will discover ROMAFLEUR through Instagram/TikTok. The mobile experience needs to feel intentionally designed and just as editorial as desktop—not simply a compressed version.
### END GOAL
I want ROMAFLEUR to feel like **a floral studio presented with the creative direction of a fashion house.**
The finished website should feel **established, desirable, premium and visually memorable while remaining extremely easy to shop.**
