Robust Offline Android Sync App

My field crews often work in areas with little or no connectivity, yet they still have to capture photos and short videos, tag them with notes, and move on. I need a native Android application that lets them work exactly as if they were online, then quietly and predictably syncs everything the moment a signal returns.

Here is what matters most to me:

• True offline-first architecture – every action must be stored locally (including high-resolution images and short videos) and never be blocked by a missing connection.
• A reliable, persistent sync queue that can survive an app crash or a forced reboot. The queue should retry automatically with exponential back-off and surface any unrecoverable errors for manual intervention.
• Intelligent conflict resolution – last-writer-wins is acceptable for now as long as the user can review and override when needed.
• Custom-designed UI that makes sync status obvious: pending, in progress, successful, or failed. I will provide brand colours and wireframes; you translate them into polished screens following modern Android guidelines without looking like stock Material Design.
• No data loss under any circumstance, even if connectivity drops halfway through an upload or the battery dies.

Deliverables I expect:

1. Full Android Studio project with clean, well-documented Kotlin code.
2. Local storage layer (Room or equivalent) handling image/video blobs efficiently.
3. Sync engine module with clear interfaces so we can extend it later.
4. Conflict-resolution workflow embedded in the UI.
5. One-click build instructions and a short README explaining architecture choices.
6. An APK or Play-ready bundle for test deployment.
