I need a compact adapter plate that lets a pneumatic 2-jaw gripper bolt straight onto a collaborative robot arm. On the robot side the interface must follow ISO 9409-1 exactly; on the gripper side, match the hole pattern and counter-bore depths shown in the datasheets I will supply. The main job is to guarantee a secure, perfectly concentric mount for the gripper while still leaving clean passages for two air lines and two sensor cable.
You’ll be working in Fusion 360, so please be ready to share your native file along with a neutral STEP export. A solid grasp of GD&T and CNC-friendly design is essential—I want realistic fillet radii, tool-ready corner relief, and tolerances I can hit on a standard 3-axis mill.
Deliverables
• 3D model – native Fusion 360 file and STEP
• 2D manufacturing drawing (PDF + DXF) with fully defined tolerances and finish call-outs
• One revision cycle after I review the first release
To be considered, attach a couple of examples that show previous robot end-effector mounts, brackets or fixture plates you designed; screenshots are fine as long as they highlight your machining-ready detail.
I’ll supply the robot flange standard, the gripper datasheet, and any preferred fastener specs the moment we start. If everything checks out against those documents—bolt pattern accuracy, weight under target, and unobstructed hose routing—the project is complete.
