Roblox School RPG Design & Scripting

I’m building a school-themed role-playing game in Roblox and need an experienced partner who can handle both the visual side and the Lua scripting. You’ll join our Discord server to coordinate with the small team already planning the map layout and story beats.

Core features we must deliver
• Appearance-based character customization: players choose uniforms, hairstyles, accessories, and colours through an intuitive UI that saves between sessions.
• In-game economy: a simple currency earned from attending classes and mini-jobs, spendable in shops for cosmetic items. Data must persist with Roblox DataStore.

What I provide
– High-level game concept, reference mood boards, draft GDD.
– Access to a private test place and version-controlled assets.
– Prompt feedback on every milestone through Discord voice or text.

What I need from you
– Modular scripts built in Roblox Studio using clean, commented Lua.
– Low-poly classroom, corridor, and courtyard models that respect mobile performance targets.
– UI assets that match a bright, cartoon-school aesthetic.
– Clear handoff: when a feature is ready, commit it to the place file and document setup steps.

Acceptance criteria
1. Character creator loads within 3 seconds on mobile and desktop.
2. Currency updates replicate instantly across clients and saves correctly on re-join.
3. All scripts pass Roblox Studio Team Create linting with no warnings.
