Yes — for Freelancer.com, I’d make it much tighter and more aggressive. Use this version:

## Software QA Tester – Total Association

**IMPORTANT: If you do not intend to actually do the work, thoroughly test the system, document bugs, and retest fixes, do not apply.**

Total Association is a large all-in-one software platform for condominium associations, HOAs, multifamily communities, and management companies.

We are looking for a **serious, detail-oriented QA Tester** to test the **entire Total Association platform**.

This is not a job where you click through a few pages and say everything looks fine. Your job is to actively try to **find problems and break the software before our customers do.**

### What You Will Test

You will test all major areas of Total Association, including:

* CRM
* Owners, residents, tenants, and properties
* Accounting
* Payments, charges, credits, deposits, and reports
* Fines & Violations
* Workforce
* Payroll
* Maintenance
* Applications & Leases
* Cars & Parking
* Access Control
* Front Gate
* Digital Intercom
* Members App & Portal
* Board Portal
* Communications
* Digital Signage
* Collections
* Digital Elections
* Project Bidding
* Reports
* System Settings
* Permissions
* Integrations

You will test:

* Every page
* Every button
* Every form
* Every important workflow
* Every important setting
* Different user permissions
* Different combinations of settings
* Calculations
* Reports
* File uploads
* Error handling
* Edge cases

### We Do NOT Want Only Happy-Path Testing

You must test what happens when users:

* Skip steps
* Do things out of order
* Enter invalid information
* Leave required fields blank
* Submit twice
* Refresh during a process
* Create duplicates
* Use unusual dates or values
* Try restricted actions
* Change settings during existing workflows
* Delete records already in use
* Use unexpected combinations of settings

You should constantly ask:

**“What can I do that might break this?”**

### Bug Reports

Every bug report must clearly include:

* Where the bug occurred
* Exact steps to reproduce it
* Expected result
* Actual result
* Screenshots/video when helpful
* Relevant settings
* User type
* Severity

A developer must be able to reproduce the problem from your report.

### Retesting

When a developer says a bug is fixed, you must:

* Reproduce the original problem
* Verify the fix
* Test related functionality
* Check that the fix did not break something else
* Close the issue only after it is actually verified

### Regression Testing

You will also maintain and run regression tests so that new development does not break previously working functionality.

### Work Monitoring

This is a **monitored remote position**.

All paid working time will be tracked using **Kickidler Employee Monitoring**.

During paid working time, management may review:

* Working hours
* Active and idle time
* Applications used
* Websites used
* Live screen activity
* Screen recordings
* Historical work sessions

**Management may view your screen live while you are working.**

If you are not comfortable with this, **do not apply**.

If you report 8 hours of work, we expect approximately 8 hours of actual QA activity.

### What We Are Looking For

You must be:

* Extremely detail-oriented
* Persistent
* Organized
* Able to work independently
* Good at documenting problems
* Comfortable learning a large system
* Comfortable repeating tests
* Able to think logically
* Able to think like both a normal user and someone trying to break the software

Professional QA experience is strongly preferred.

Experience with accounting software, ERP, CRM, SaaS, payroll, property management software, APIs, SQL, Postman, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is a plus.

### This Job Is NOT For You If You:

* Need someone to tell you every single thing to test
* Test one example and call the feature complete
* Ignore edge cases
* Submit vague bug reports
* Mark things tested without actually testing them
* Run the work timer while doing something else
* Do not want your paid work activity monitored

### Final Note

We need someone who will take ownership of software quality and actively look for problems.

**If you want an easy remote job where you run a timer and click around, do not apply.**

**If you are serious about QA, can test complicated software thoroughly, document your work, and help us make Total Association reliable, we want to hear from you.**
