I am putting together a first-books experience for babies and young toddlers (0-3 years) centered on gentle animal and nature moments, told entirely in lively, memorable rhyme. Think sturdy board-book pacing, vivid yet simple language, and an inviting cadence that parents will enjoy reading aloud again and again.

The core story should follow a clear, comforting arc—nothing too plot-heavy—while showcasing a range of familiar creatures and natural settings that spark early curiosity (forest, pond, garden, sky, etc.). I’m open to your creative take on sequence and structure as long as the rhyme remains tight, age-appropriate, and easy to pronounce.

To keep the project focused:

• Deliver a polished manuscript of roughly 120–180 words, broken into page spreads (ideal for a 12–16-page board book).
• Supply a brief art note beneath each spread describing the scene so an illustrator can pick it up without questions.
• Provide a short read-aloud guide (rhythm cues or repeated refrain) so caregivers instantly grasp the flow.

Please share a sample stanza in your proposal that demonstrates your rhyming style for this age group. I’m looking to move quickly from concept approval to final text, so clarity, rhythm, and a genuine love for the wonders of animals and nature will stand out.
