Rewrite Technical Documents

I need a skilled content rewriter to take a series of technical documents and turn them into clear, reader-friendly material while preserving every specification, formula, and requirement. This is a full rewrite—not just copy-editing or light proofreading—so I expect sentences to be reorganised, jargon simplified where possible, and overall flow improved without altering the technical intent.
Scope of work
• Rewrite each document in the original file format, keeping tables, figures, and section numbering intact.
• Deliver both a clean version and a tracked-changes version so I can see exactly what was updated.
• Maintain technical accuracy; cross-check any revised terminology against the source.
• Flag any ambiguities or inconsistencies you spot for my review.
Helpful skills
Experience with engineering or software documentation, familiarity with style guides such as IEEE or Chicago, and strong command of concise technical English will make the work smoother.
Timeline & workflow
There is no fixed deadline, so take the time you need to produce a polished result. I do appreciate progress updates and will review drafts as you complete each document.
Future work
If this collaboration goes well, I may extend the project to include copy editing and final-stage proofreading on additional materials.
When you reply, please include:
1. A brief note on your background with technical rewriting.
2. One short before-and-after sample (or link) showcasing similar work.
3. Your estimated timeframe per 1,000 words.
I’m ready to get started as soon as I find the right fit. Let’s make these documents shine.
